Your turn goes in as an indented italic line, and the next page is written around it.

SCENE BREAKS
Scenes break the way they do in a book.
It remembers the whole story, not just the last few pages.
The story keeps its own notes as it goes: the people and places it has named, the facts it has settled, the goals still open, and each chapter summarised as it closes. A detail from chapter two is still true in chapter twenty.
You can read all of it beside the story, and change any of it. Correct a wrong note and the story is right from there on.

ORIHAI AI
Sign in and write: no key to find, no provider to choose, no bill. It runs on Orihai's own AI, free while it is being tested, with a monthly allowance. It is the one mode in which an Orihai server sees the story, and what that means is written down.

Or use your own provider key instead. Orihai talks to the provider directly: with your own key there is no Orihai account and no Orihai server in the middle.

Or point it at a model running on your own machine. No key, no provider, no bill, and the story never leaves the computer it is written on.

Every story starts from a scenario: a world, and the people in it.
Bring in a character card you already have, or drop the file on the page. The format is the common one, not something Orihai invented.
Or have an AI write one. Orihai hands you a prompt for whichever chat you already use, and takes the answer back. Nothing is sent from the app itself.

The whole app changes, not just an accent colour: paper for daylight, ink for a room with the lamp off, and five in between.
Scenes and places can be illustrated too, through AI Horde or a ComfyUI on your own machine. It stays off until you turn it on.

Orihai is free to use. You pay your model provider, or nobody at all.
There is no subscription and no per-message fee. Your provider bills you at its published rate, and a story's running total sits at the foot of its page.
