Orihai is provided free of charge, as is, and is under development.

Orihai is a desktop application for long interactive fiction. It can be used with your own AI provider key, with a model running on your own computer, or with Orihai's managed AI service.

Orihai is under development. Features may change or be removed without notice, and no release date is promised.

An account is identified by a single email address. Sign-in is by a one-time code sent to that address. Anyone with access to the mailbox can sign in to the account.

Accounts are personal. You may not share your account or create additional accounts in order to obtain additional allowance.

You may change the email address on your account at account.orihai.com/account/email. The change takes effect when a code sent to the new address is entered. An address already associated with an Orihai account cannot be used.

You may delete your account at any time at account.orihai.com/account. The privacy policy describes what deletion removes.

Managed AI is optional and is provided free of charge during testing. Use is subject to a monthly token allowance, a rate limit and a limit on concurrent requests. Requests that would exceed any of these limits are refused.

The allowance, the models used and the service itself may be changed or withdrawn at any time without notice.

Managed AI relies on a single provider in a single region, without failover. If that provider is unavailable, generation fails and the application reports the failure. Use of Orihai with your own provider key or with a local model does not depend on this service.

No paid tier exists or is promised.

Managed AI is subject to the content policy, which forms part of these terms and lists the three categories of content it will not generate.

Use of Orihai with your own provider key or with a local model is governed by that provider's terms and by applicable law. Orihai does not moderate such use, and no content is sent to Orihai's servers.

You retain all rights in your stories. Orihai claims no rights in what you write or in what is generated for you.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to hold an account. Orihai does not verify age.

To unlock a scenario for adult content, you must affirm on your account that you are 18 or older. In an unlocked scenario, the content policy is the only restriction that applies. In a locked scenario, managed AI is additionally instructed to avoid explicit content.

The affirmation has no other effect. Managed AI may be used without it.

Orihai is provided as is and without warranty of any kind, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or availability. No service level is offered. Generated content is not checked for accuracy.

Managed AI depends on third-party infrastructure, listed in the privacy policy, which may be slow, unavailable or refuse requests without notice. Orihai does not control these services and does not guarantee their availability.

Your stories are stored on your own computer. Backing them up is your responsibility.

No support commitment is made. Questions may be sent to hello@orihai.com.

If the service is unavailable, or fails in a way that consumes allowance you have paid for, the remedy is restoration of the allowance or, on request, a refund of any amount paid for the affected period.

To the extent permitted by Spanish law, Orihai is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of profit, or for loss of data stored on your own computer. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing in them affects the rights granted to you by Spanish and EU consumer law.

An account may be suspended or terminated if it is used to circumvent the limits in clause 03, to deliberately request content in the categories listed in the content policy, or in any other manner that endangers the service or the cost of operating it.

Orihai is operated by Manuel Raya Coello (49064506D), an individual resident in Spain, and is not incorporated. These terms are governed by Spanish law, and any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the Spanish courts.

These terms took effect on the date shown at the top of this page. Changes will be notified to the email address on your account before they take effect. Continued use of Orihai after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
