The scenario catalogue

orihai.ink lists scenarios you can open in Orihai. Each one is a .orihai file you can download.

Since version 0.8.0

What it is#

orihai.ink is a catalogue of scenarios written by Orihai, for a general audience. You do not need an account, and there is nothing to sign in to.

Each scenario has a page with its opening scene, its cast, its creator and its licence. A scenario marked Orihai Choice is one Orihai picked to show first.

Find a scenario#

The list shows each scenario as a card with its genre, a short premise and how many people it has. Type in Search scenarios to narrow the list to the cards that match. What you type stays in your browser.

Under Sort, choose Orihai Choices, Newest, Most imported or Most viewed. Tick one or more boxes under Genre to show only those scenarios. When the catalogue holds scenarios in more than one language, a Language list works the same way. Clear filters removes them.

Open a scenario#

On a scenario's page, choose Open in Orihai. Your browser asks whether to open Orihai; allow it, then choose Download in Orihai to see the import preview.

If Orihai does not open, choose Download the file on the page. Then double-click the file, or choose Import scenario in the Library.

Scenarios open in Orihai 0.8.0 or later, on Windows. Sharing scenarios describes the file and the link in full. Each import adds a new scenario to your library, so importing one twice gives you two copies.

Changes#

The Changes list on a scenario's page shows each revision with the day it was published and a short note. The file you download is the latest revision.

Importing a scenario again adds the latest revision as a new scenario. Your earlier copy and its stories stay as they are.

What the catalogue counts#

A scenario's page shows how many times it has been imported and viewed. They are totals for each day. The privacy page says what is counted and what is not.
